Inconsistent attributes

Hello,

I have no sound because no audio device is installed (it used to work fine before). I went to the device manager and updated the driver for the high definition audio bus device, then searched for software online, but it could not be installed due to the error: THE ATTRIBUTES (EA) are inconsistent. Could you provide a solution to modify them or something else? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    Go to the drivers section on your audio card company's website and they will ask you which
    operating system you want your drivers for.
