Hello,
Here's a brief explanation of my problem. I recently bought Bioshock, the video game for PC. When I start the installation, it's all good! But it's at the end of the installation that things start to annoy me. During the patch installation, when they say:
Installation of additional elements
Downloading the Bioshock Patch
Well, nothing shows up, nothing loads! According to what I’ve read here and there, to download the patch, a window should pop up to say that Bioshock is trying to connect to the internet. BUT I SEE NOTHING!!!! I left it like this thinking it would take a long time, but now, after an hour, it’s starting to get to me...
When I then try to close it, it doesn’t work; the installation won’t close...
Is there a way for the patch to install or should I skip this step?? Please help me, I’m desperate......

Same for me:
Hello
I don't have the internet and I just bought Bioshock and it asks me to download the patch. Is there a workaround or a site to download the patch???
Thanks!!!
That's too bad.-
Hi, I had the same problem so I reinstalled Windows along with all the updates for the motherboard, graphics card, etc. Once that was done, I disabled the Windows firewall and restarted the installation. It's silly, but it worked right away. For lil.xy, you should get it on a USB and install it afterward.
