The persistent Windows error message that claims a file is "in use" when attempting to delete or rename it has finally been reviewed by a Microsoft technical lead. They explain that this bug mainly occurs for three reasons. The first cause is antivirus intervention. The second is related to network environments where another connected device might hold an active open file. Finally, it can be due to DLL libraries. Solutions have been proposed to work around this issue. And you, have you ever encountered this problem? How did you resolve it?
