    Hi penchax,

So, if you downloaded your Facebook data, the folder usually contains a video file (like .mp4). Open it with VLC or your player, and you’re good.

If it’s just the “Save” button on Facebook, the video isn’t actually on your computer; it’s in your “Saved” on the site.

If it’s a zip/rar, you need to extract it first.

    Hello.

Is this directory called "Facebook Files"?

Hypothetical situation of what you did:

1/ You opened the video on FB
2/ You right-clicked with the mouse
3/ You clicked "Save as" and chose a destination directory
4/ By looking in this directory, you found nothing, which is normal.

The solution allowing a Facebook video to be downloaded to your computer only concerns videos for which you potentially have the owner's permission to download, or if it is one of your own videos.
