Add Google Calendar appointment by voice

Hello, I'm struggling with something really simple.

I have a Samsung A26 (Android) and I'm having a hard time adding a calendar appointment by voice in Google Calendar.

When I launch the voice command through Gemini 'hey Google, add a calendar appointment Saturday at the dentist at 3:00 PM', I get the message "workspace is disabled, or the Samsung calendar app..." every other time.

I just want to add this to Google Calendar.

What is the procedure?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

I just tried using the Samsung Bixby assistant on my Galaxy A56.

    It works well.

Bixby is directly accessible via the side key (see Settings > Advanced features)

I can't guarantee it will work on the A26.

As for Google Assistant, there are no difficulties either.

The assistant is activated by a long press on the M/A button.

You must, of course, have configured voice recognition (Voice Match).

No, but to launch the assistant, no problem, I actually launch it by voice using the command "hey google" ..

It's just that it opens "workspace" once every two times, or else it launches the Samsung calendar ...

I would like it to launch the Google calendar and add the event that I dictate by voice.

    Good evening,

I managed to reproduce your problem. It seems to only occur with Gemini.

So try to favor Google Assistant over Gemini:

    Open your smartphone's Settings

Settings > Google (Google Services) > All services > Search, Assistant, and Voice

Click on Google Assistant and scroll down the list to find Google's digital assistants (choose between Gemini and Google Assistant). (It's quite low down the list)

Click on it and choose Google Assistant.
