uBlock Origin, the popular ad blocker, is no longer supported by Google Chrome due to technical changes implemented by Google. While it was still possible to manually reactivate uBlock Origin, this option will no longer be available starting with Chrome 151. The developer offers a "Lite" version compatible with Manifest V3, but with limited features. Furthermore, all Chromium-based browsers will also be affected by these changes. However, some, like Brave or Firefox, have confirmed the continued support for Manifest V2 extensions. Should we consider switching to another browser to enjoy all our favorite extensions?

Having always refused Windows browsers just as I refuse anything based on Chromium, I can still use uBlock Origin on Firefox.

Why look for trouble when you can use resource-intensive tools like Ublock and Adblock, which consume significant resources, while NoScript perfectly does the job with the only limitation that only external scripts are filtered, which fails when they come from the same address, for example for YouTube fans.
