Cursor issue in Word doc

Hello,

Recently, my cursor tends to disappear when I enter the text area of my Word documents. The problem appears both in documents that I am currently writing and in older documents.

No issues outside the text area (between the cursors on the ruler) or outside the page; no issues either on web pages.

I don't think I've made any major changes on my computer that could have caused this.

I am using MS Office Professional Plus 2021.

Thank you if you can help me solve this very annoying issue.

    Hello,

    I don't think the problem comes from Word but rather from Windows or more specifically from the display driver, try updating it or reverting to the previous version.

    Screen driver when I am not noticing any issues elsewhere, particularly on the web?

    Hello,

    First, try to increase the thickness of the text cursor by setting it to 3. It may no longer be invisible.

    To access the settings, simply type in the search box of the taskbar: text cursor thickness.
