    Hi Winux,

I see that you’re not lucky with your teeth either. Yes, candies—like you, I used to eat a lot of candy when I was younger.

It’s especially when I went to the cinema, at least every two weeks, there was a gallery with a small candy shop opposite the cinema. I would buy a bag of candy of at least 300 grams and I’d often thread half or three-quarters of it through the movie. Nearly all my teeth are filled. XD

And my teeth tend to break all over the place; the dentist told me that with the fillings they put in more than 20 years ago, there’s an issue that makes them expand with heat and cold and it causes the teeth to crack.

I didn’t know dentists made fake diagnoses; it’s disgusting.

The dentist I go to charges quite a bit, more than 2482.80 euros to repair four broken teeth and fit crowns. Luckily most of it is reimbursed by my mutual insurance.

Where I go, they are reputed to do very good work; there are 11 dental surgeons plus their assistants.

Is there a way to disable the processor boost in the BIOS?

    Hello,

I am not on social media.

    Why are we bothering?

    Best regards.

    Same as Eglantier,

I'm not one of those who expose my life on ordinary social networks.

Especially on social networks, we often get torn apart, and there are floods of hatred that poison social networks.

At the time when I had a girlfriend, her ex-boyfriend showed up on Facebook when I was still registered there and literally threatened to kill me... It completely cured me of social networks.

Yes, that's one of the reasons that makes me want to flee social media.

    Hello Eglantier,

It's better since the temperatures of the past days have finally dropped a bit.

I haven't played much lately, you now have mastery of bargaining, which means you sell at the same price you buy, not even counting negotiations, it's much cooler, what level are you at currently? If I have such an advantage over you, it's mainly because I had the game long before you.

In my last games, I had more than 100,000 gold coins, I had to buy the game's houses to find a use for such wealth, otherwise there’s also the idea of buying alchemy ingredients and creating potions to level up, if you don’t know what to do yourself, here’s an idea.

Hi Winux, Yes, we’re finally breathing a little. Yesterday I went back to the dentist for another hour and a half and he put in 3 more temporary crowns, that makes six while waiting for the permanent ones at the next two appointments. In Oblivion, I reached level 27 this afternoon. I should have about 63,000 gold. Thanks for the tip. So far I’ve only bought the house in Cheydinhal and in Anvil, the haunted house. A few screenshots: Loot more than interesting at the Blackwood Company Tout en hauteur... Oreyn gave me his bone helmet Not very friendly the inhabitants of Riverwood... Not very friendly the inhabitants of Taillepierre...

I totally agree with you, Winux, and with HelpiOS.

    Some Oblivion screenshots:

Careful with that torch, you’ll burn someone!

Finally, I opted for a Daedric sword, powerful, and against ghosts it’s better than my silver sword which didn’t inflict much.

    Close-up of my character’s face

    Let’s take a quick shortcut…

I bought a house in Skingrad, but there is no maid...

I swapped my shield for a monolithic shield found on a battlefield at the Cornwall castle.

    Hi Eglantier,

Life goes on, with its ups and downs, but right now I'm doing pretty well, don't worry.

How are you doing on your side as well?

In Oblivion, the servant girl is in a Skingrad tavern/shop, you need to start a discussion with her.

Right now I'm continuing my Palworld playthrough, it's a crafting game with Pokémon-like creatures, but like Enshrouded, it lacks a bit of life for the NPCs, though I don't mind too much for the moment.

      Hello Winux,

I'm good too, thanks. It's just that I think I swallowed one of my six temporary crowns in my sleep; one was missing when I woke up and I couldn't find it in my bed. XD

Thanks for the tip about Skingrad's servant, I'll check it out.

I've heard a lot of good things about Palworld, but I don't think I'll vibe with it if, as you say, it lacks life like in Enshrouded...

Otherwise, I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Kena: Scars of Kosmora. The first episode: Kena, Bridge of Spirits released a few years ago surprised me with its gorgeous environments, its open world (even if it’s limited), its epic boss fights with aggressive AI (more than 18 bosses), its enchanting story, the roars, the little fluffballs that accompany us throughout the story, the magnificent music, and more.

Yes, you told me about that game, Kena, I remember, and also about Fable, but Fable is criticized because the voices might not be in French, which the fans protest.

As for the teeth, I’ll really need to schedule an appointment on my side too, even if it means traveling far from home to find a competent one; I didn’t know temporary crowns were needed, a new thing I learned, but bad luck for you if you lost it or swallowed it.

Palworld is really very good otherwise, with 80 hours filled, the game is still enchanting, if you find it on a big sale, for around ten euros, honestly, don’t hesitate it's a good experience.

      Hi Winux,

It looks like it’ll be the same for Kena: Scars of Kosmos, for the first one the voices are in English.

For the temporary crowns, the dentist put them on because he had a lot of work on my teeth and was limited by time, already an hour and a half per appointment is a lot, and also he did this before the placement of the definitive crowns because he said he didn’t want to rush the job.

      I don’t think I’d enjoy Palword, because Pokémon isn’t my thing. :)

      Hi Églantier,

All that time at the dentist, I myself haven’t experienced that yet, it can’t be easy.

Yes, if you don’t like Pokemon, I won’t press it any further.

      Hi Winux,

It’s probably because my teeth were broken and badly damaged, at least 4 teeth broken.

Do you have any Palworld screenshots?

      Hi Winux,

Thanks for the screenshots, they help me get an idea of the thing.

It looks pretty good. But if it’s a bit in the style of Enshrouded, I’m likely to get tired of it very quickly.

The Pokémon in the first screenshot is huge.

    Hi Églantier,

Hope you're well, aside from a few little hiccups like you.

My Xbox is broken, I have to go through the warranty and send it to Microsoft, I’ll do it later; in the meantime I canceled my Xbox Game Pass and, like you, I signed up for GeForce Now Ultimate to play a bit from anywhere.

Oblivion on Extreme is really gorgeous to play, but I have a save issue.

I’m continuing to play Palworld; I’m level 57, progress is getting slower but with crafting items that are awesome, like a flamethrower, lightsaber, laser rifle, grenade launcher, monsters by my side but with bosses and Pal (Pokémon) always more difficult to capture in return.

Oh darn, that's troublesome for your Xbox... Have you had it for a long time?

Welcome to Geforce Now ultimate! :)

What save issue are you encountering?

There is a game that looks a lot like Palword, but I can't remember the name anymore.

My flood concern isn't an isolated case; neighbors came by to tell me the pipes are affected in the building, several tenants have floods, and in the hallway closet of my apartment, where the electrical cables and fiber optic cables are located, everything is flooded with water dripping from the ceiling, same for the water meters.

They told me that the physiotherapist's place next door was flooded as well, and the little printing shop too.

My Xbox is 1 year and 3 months old; the warranty ends in May 2027, fortunately.

On GeForce Now, there was a message saying disk space full when I tried to save in Oblivion. I hope at least to recover the previous saves in my local session.

Darn, the flood, insurance in the worst case for material loss compensates €5,000 or more depending on the contract.

One year and three months is really not much...

It's strange about your backup issue, maybe the cloud backup space is full, right?

Regarding the floods, it took a turn; the neighbors upstairs, whom we suspect it came from, forced their way into my apartment and told me it was my washing machine that caused it (except water cannot rise, it goes down, it's nonsense). I had a hard time getting them to leave my place, then they targeted the neighbor on the same floor with threats and all, fists raised, screams and all, I intervened. Besides, they didn't want the firefighters to go into their home...

I'm in shock from this scene of extreme violence...

So, I play a bit to unwind and clear my head, otherwise the violent scene keeps looping in my head all day...

I bought (a bit on a whim) the game Dragonsword Awakening which is somewhat in the style of Genshin Impact.

    Hi Eglantier,

I don’t know about Oblivion save backups.

Toxic, violent neighbors who think they’re masters of the world—I've known that mentally, it’s very exhausting. I even nearly bought CO2-powered self-defense weapons for that, just to say ^^'

As for Dragonsword, it sounds good; I just hope it’s not a game with microtransactions like Genshin Impact.

Hello Winux, You're right. Yesterday, I went to the police station with my neighbor to explain what happened, and the officer sent us off a bit too quickly... Are there a lot of microtransactions in Genshin Impact? Do they prevent you from progressing in the game? I asked ChatGPT about microtransactions regarding DragonSword Awakening, and here's what I got as an answer: No — not like Genshin Impact. DragonSword: Awakening was originally designed as a gacha/mobile game, but the developers shifted the model before release: - Single purchase: the game is sold for around $30 on Steam, and not free-to-play. - No paid gacha: characters and gear can be obtained by playing, without having to buy randomized draws. - No monthly pass/battle pass planned. - There are optional cosmetic DLCs and cosmetic companions on Steam, some at $3.99, as well as a Deluxe Pack. - The game retains some gacha-like mechanics and sensations — character recruitment, tickets, progression, etc. — but without the aggressive monetization of Genshin. Some players describe the game as “a gacha without microtransactions.” So if your question is “am I going to have to spend money to get the best characters like in Genshin?” → no. You buy the game once and you can unlock characters by playing.

Yes, there are a lot of microtransactions in Genshin Impact, with a lottery ticket system that gives access to characters, weapons, etc., randomly (or not, who knows...) even though it is possible to obtain a lot without spending anything.

DragonSword only has cosmetic purchases, a bit like Path of Exile, so that's better, it's much more ethical. At the moment it's possible that I might get it too, maybe later with a small promo, I'll think about it, thanks for the discovery.

So far, I’ve seen two tests from different websites, and they’re very good.

I’m often used to looking at tests (in English) on Softpedia:

      Thank you for the site,

I bought the game myself, it’s good, it takes the positive points of Genshin Impact, the game looks even better while remaining very smooth because it doesn’t consume a lot of resources.

I haven’t played much yet due to the intense heat, but I’m enjoying the game.

      Hi Winux,

Ah, I didn’t make a bad purchase either then. :)

Right now, I’m in the thick of finishing the Mage Guild arc in Oblivion, with Mannimarco returning. I’ll keep going a bit before diving into Dragonsword, since there are lots of dungeons I haven’t discovered yet in Oblivion.

Thanks for the screenshots. It’s nice!

      The map, it looks big.

I've redone a little part of Wreckfest, but on a laptop (I installed GeForce Now), but I’ve lost the habit of racing games, I keep sliding and crashing into walls. XD

    Good evening Eglantier,

    I'm doing fine.

I take my captures under Windows with the Xbox Series controller's button on my semi-gaming PC on Dragonsword. With the weather back to normal, I can heat up my PC, but I have to convert the images for CCM.

When I played Palworld on Xbox, I could transfer using a USB stick from the Xbox to a PC and post on CCM.

By the way, I managed to get a transport voucher to pass the warranty on this one since it's broken; I have to take it to a certified UPS Access Point next week. Microsoft's support was very responsive, which is good to know.

On Bazzite for Geforce Now on my laptop, there is an issue updating the Linux beta app; I’m waiting for a patch. I couldn't play Palworld under good conditions and without controller support in Firefox.

If you want to take screenshots on Geforce Now, there should be a key or shortcut for that, I think. I'll check later.

    Hi,

Practically nothing followed the initial problem...

    However, great idea

And if you share your Instagram handle to communicate with each other?

Soon 500 messages for a dentist issue, for games, or for who knows what...

Mébon, that racks up the numbers :)

    Have a good evening

We don’t share our private lives, but rather the vicissitudes like the rain and sunshine, and HelpiOS has been clear on the subject:

<<CCM is a computer help forum, but it is also a space for discussions open to less technical topics, where members can simply chat and share their opinions in a friendly / amicable spirit.

This discussion has its rightful place on the forum, and it is precisely this kind of interaction that keeps the community alive.

        Best wishes for the future!>>
