Hello,
I use Facebook on two different devices: iMac version Catalina at home and iPad while I’m on the go. The two devices were, until recently, synchronized. On the evening of November 18, I wanted to check Facebook on the iMac. But I couldn’t access my account and was directly taken to a sign-up offer, as if I hadn’t been registered for three years. Thinking it was a process to restore my usual account, I signed up, providing my name and age. But none of my usual account appeared, everything had to restart… I was simply on a new account that I kept without using. However, on the iPad, my usual account is still intact; I can access and use it.
How can I return to the previous situation of coordinating the same original account on both devices, given that if I want to close the iMac account, I can't figure out how because I keep getting lost in questions where I don’t recognize my situation?
I learned since that November 18 was the date of a significant bug that Facebook was involved in. Considering I was recently a victim of a phishing scam related to a so-called threat to control which I had actually opened the door to, -I took the necessary banking measures and cleaned up “pup”- can I think that the new account is a hack, and what should I do?

As long as you are logged in on your iPad, you haven't lost anything. Take advantage of being logged into your account to check the list of active sessions, and deactivate those you do not recognize: https://accountscenter.facebook.com/password_and_security/login_activity
If you think you are the target of hacking, I advise you to check all boxes to log everyone out (you will need to log back in if you are connected on a device you haven't mentioned in the conversation, but that's not a big deal)
Then on your iMac, as you mentioned ("registration offer") you signed up (and did not "log in") so you created a new account, it's normal that it is empty. You can log out of this account and log back in https://www.facebook.com/login/ with your usual credentials.
