I entered an email address in the Apple Store where three digits were mistakenly interspersed, and I lost my password. As a result, I cannot update my computer. I sent an email to Apple to report my issue, informing them that my original email was correct, but they refuse, stating that this email is already in use.

    Try contacting Apple Support by phone, you will be able to explain yourself better. Or else at an Apple Store if there’s one nearby...
