Hello, I purchased the "Efficcess" software for life a few years ago, but it has ceased to exist and is no longer updated, downloadable, or repairable now. However, we can still continue to use it without any problem. But since yesterday, I have been getting an error message that prevents me from opening it: Application error.

Can you help me solve this problem? It's my electronic planner, and unfortunately, I have no backup. Thank you for your help; you would be of great assistance! If it's not possible to resolve this issue, could you recommend another comparable electronic planner, whether free or paid, it doesn't matter. Have a good day. Best regards, Brigitte

    Otherwise, you definitely need the source application in order to repair it.

    For another calendar, we would need to know exactly how you use it. But for me, it's not necessary to have a specific application for that.

    Hello, thank you both very much for your responses. I was able to download Efficcess again and re-enter my registration code. But curiously, my appointments and other information have disappeared since 2020. Too bad, but I will be able to use it again. However, where does this access violation problem come from?       Hello,

      The message is cryptic and generic; it means that the program is not allowed to write to a specified but unrecognizable reserved memory area.

      Aside from hardware issues (RAM) or widespread Windows corruption, whether caused by malware or not, which would manifest more generally, the cause is nearly impossible to pinpoint.

      It could for example be due to corruption of the files of the software in question or the fact that the version of the software being used is not fully compatible with that of the operating system, or the interception of its files by third-party security software...
