Hello,

I have tried several times to remove the Windows Hello authentication technology by going to "Sign-in options", but after restarting my laptop, Windows 11 forces me to create a new Hello PIN each time.

I don't know what to do to avoid having to enter any code as soon as I turn on my PC.

Does anyone know how to remove this functionality?

    Hello,

    When installing Windows (Without an Ethernet cable), you click "I don't have Internet"

    If you can't, press Shift + F10 and then type:

    oobe\bypassnro

    And you do not enter a password

    Afterwards, when Windows is already installed and configured with a password, I don't know, since I always bypass, you can wait for other answers.

      Hello,

      In any case, Windows will require identification, the most common methods are Hello, Microsoft account, and local account.

      I assume that switching is only possible if one of the other two methods already exists but will continue to ask for the password unless we choose to start without it.

      This feature only exists for a local account that must first be created if there isn't one.

    With your first link and very little searching, I solved my problem.

    For others who have the same issue, here’s how I did it:

    I first did this:

    Settings/Account/Your info/Account settings

    Click on "Sign in instead with a Local account".

    Follow the instructions.

    After restarting the PC:

    Click the Windows+R key and type: netplwiz

    Uncheck the box: "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer"

    Click on "Apply"

    Windows will ask for the computer name and the Microsoft account password (to be entered 2X) so it remembers who logs in.

    Click on "OK"

    You will return to the User Accounts window -> Click "OK" again

    Restart the PC.
