Hello,

Try resetting your Kobo e-reader by pressing the Home button, then go to...

Settings > Technical Information > Reset Now.

If that doesn't work, use a paperclip to restart the device or contact Kobo support... https://fr.kobobooks.com/

Hello

Thank you, but I've already tried that and it doesn't work; the screen is still frozen.

Which method does not work?

Hello

I made the scroll button + on/off button, and I reset it, but nothing works, still stuck on the download page with the word "off" at the top. Thank you.

Hello,

Is your e-reader still under warranty (2 years from the date of purchase)?

Hello

Purchased second-hand last Christmas.

If your Kobo e-reader is frozen, first force a shutdown by holding the power button for about fifteen seconds (or insert a paperclip into the small reset hole). Recharge the device, then perform a complete reset by holding the power and Home buttons until the screen blinks. Also, remember to remove any micro-SD card. If the e-reader is still not recognized via Kobo Desktop, you will need to contact support, especially in the absence of a warranty.
For your reading, appropriate lighting is useful: the Folding Touch Dimmable Reading Night Light is a foldable LED lamp with adjustable brightness and a built-in USB port. It easily fits on a bedside table and enhances reading comfort.
