good evening everyone

to be able to play battlefield 2042, it asks me to enable secure boot, but when I go into my BIOS to enable it, my PC keeps looping in automatic repair. What am I doing wrong for my secure boot to be activated?

thank you in advance for your help

Hello,

I don't understand anything about games and I'm doing everything to make it last.

If the BIOS offers a secure boot option, it means that, in principle, the PC is equipped with an adequate TPM chip, although...

If it involves Windows 11, the installation should, in principle, always be done securely, although again, there are ways to bypass this.

If the system was installed on an MBR partition table, there is no UEFI partition and the system will logically crash on boot unless we convert this table to GPT hoping it can be done without data loss.

Of course, if, for example, the installation of Windows 11 was forced on a PC that does not support secure installation, simply clicking on an option will not change the situation, end of the line.

Hello,

Try turning off your PC, unplugging it, removing the battery from the BIOS for 10 seconds, putting the battery back in, and plugging your PC back in; this will restore your BIOS to the default settings.

Check if your secure boot is working; if it’s not, you can perform a clear CMOS to reset the motherboard's memory. Refer to your motherboard manual for instructions on how to clear CMOS.

Check if your secure boot is working again.

When you enabled your secure boot, did you remember to save it with F10 for it to be taken into account?
