Torrent stuck on 'searching for peers'

Hello,

for a few days now, whenever I try to download a torrent, it gets stuck right from the start. It happened overnight, regardless of the software (uTorrent, BitTorrent, Transmission...) and only with my box (there are no problems when I share my connection with my phone). I haven't changed my box recently, but I did change my plan (it's basically the same SFR fiber plan, same equipment, just without the TV). I've read tons of reviews, tried plenty of things, and nothing works; I'm desperate.. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hello,

I'm having the same issue after an update of uTorrent, were you able to fix it?
I've tried several methods:

  • Restarting,
  • Uninstalling, reinstalling,
  • Trying with qBittorrent,
  • Allowing the client in Windows Defender,
  • Manually enabling the port in Windows Defender,
  • Changing the port,
  • The link provided by Panth33ra.

But nothing seems to work... So if you managed to fix it, I would like to know the method you used please.
