I do not know the site in question among others, but the general context is not necessarily one of fraud.

It has existed for a long time, including since the days of print media, consisting for example of "offering" me a Danew tablet, after which I will come here to complain that it works when it wants to in exchange for a subscription to magazines.

There are also "real" objects; one might very well want to "offer" or transfer a Nespresso coffee machine for a symbolic cost in exchange for an online subscription to whatever.

Assuming that I did receive it, otherwise it is undoubtedly fraud, the fact that I clicked without reading does not negate the validity of the contract except for the right of withdrawal, and the creditor is entitled to want to recover it.

The legal maxim states that no one can benefit from their own wrongdoing.
