My Smart TV does not recognize my DVD player.

Hello!

I have a brand new Hisense smart TV that I bought last month, and I would like to connect a Philips Divx Video DVD player to it. This player is a bit old but works very well on my other TV.

I had to buy a Scart - HDMI adapter to connect the player to the TV.

However, the TV does not recognize the player and displays "No signal."

Yet, the player is working, and it is properly connected. Do you think the problem might be with the cable?

    Hello,

    There is a possibility, there are adapters from Scart to HDMI and others from HDMI to Scart. In your case, you need the former.
