Good evening,
The limit is 5,000 friends for an individual with a standard Facebook account.
You or the person you wish to invite have reached the friend limit.
You can add up to 5,000 friends on Facebook. To connect with a new person, you can take the following actions:
- Activate professional mode to connect with more than 5,000 friends on Facebook.
- Remove a person from your friends, then send an invitation to another person.
- Follow the person if they have allowed this feature, instead of sending them an invitation. You will still be able to view their public posts.
Note: you cannot accept an invitation from someone who already has 5,000 friends.
