Hello, my minor daughter receives several emails a day from MY CANADIAN PHARMACY (viagra, photos of penises, etc.). We have added it to IncrediMail spam and block the sender every time, but they keep coming back under another name. Here is the site
http://tersatig.cn be careful, this is not a site for children.
Can you help us, what should we do?
Thank you, best regards

Use a more efficient email software, like Thunderbird, which can learn to categorize emails.
It can be configured to automatically move them to the trash.

I confirm that Thunderbird, although it does not have the graphical features of IncrediMail, is very effective for spam filtering. It creates a "Junk" folder to which it directs most unsolicited messages with minimal errors. Moreover, this procedure is completely configurable and adaptable to your needs. There is also an extension for Thunderbird called "delete junk context menu" (to be found on addonsmozilla.org or extensions.geckozone.org) that allows you to delete all messages from the "Junk" folder with one click.

Hello,

My children also receive this kind of emails

I especially think we need to track these guys down legally or take down their servers using less legal means

I can't stand having to deal with anti-spam software

This is about "Canadian Pharmacy", there’s even an address

I don't know if it's the same problem as mine, but I've received several emails like this and the sender was me??
so I find it curious that one can receive emails from oneself without having sent them, especially links in English about Viagra or other stuff!!

For your information, Canadian pharmacy was fake spam. It allowed for an in-depth study to understand how spam networks work, and the result shows that sales sites organize the spam themselves...

If you want to know more:

As for the email addresses that change all the time or for the emails you receive from your own address, that's normal; they can write whatever they want as the sender's address. Moreover, spam is sent from the machines of people who didn't ask for it, and the addresses are either generated on the fly or taken from valid addresses of people who are themselves spammed. So, there's no point in replying with insults because either it won't work, or it will land in someone else's inbox. In any case, you'll never be able to communicate with the real sender.

To finally solve the spam problem once and for all, we'll need to completely rethink the management of email, which did not foresee this scenario 20 years ago. At that time, the Internet was only used by students and scientists, so spam wasn't really anticipated :)

Fake spam!!!! I'm freaking out

Very good to exonerate "pharmacy.....", but I think if they're attacked, they'll be held responsible

As for me, I find it amazing to say this especially when underage children receive pictures of sexual arousal...

It's clear that Hotmail, MSN, etc. email servers could automatically delete emails and threaten the sender.

The internet has been polluted ever since commerce came along, especially since around 1996. We keep enduring ads, commercial pages automatically "loaded" thanks to browsers and Javascript...

****

Otherwise, to respond to a comment from a user above.

When generating an email, it's possible to fill in the fields: from, to, subject, and other properties without any control.

When you want to pollute a mailbox, all you have to do is put the recipient's name (to) in the sender (from) so that when you reply, you receive your own message (insult... or whatever you want).

Have a good day

To stop having this kind of issue, we should stop using Internet Explorer 6 and lower, and especially Outlook of all versions :)

Hello,

I have been blocking these emails systematically for months, and after 6 months of blocking different addresses, I no longer receive that kind of email. It's long, but one must be patient...
