Redirection on the Ministry of the Interior's website

Good evening, I am a 17-year-old teenager.

I was peacefully browsing adult sites and watching legal adult videos when all of a sudden I clicked on a link that redirected me to the Ministry of the Interior's website. I didn't take the time to read what was written there, thinking it was ads, and I was redirected to this site about 4-5 times. When I finally took the time to read what it said, apparently I was redirected to the site because I attempted to watch pedophilia videos. I don't know what to do right now and I wanted to know what is going to happen. I repeat, I was on legal porn sites since the day before yesterday, I am scared, I am afraid, and I don’t want to end up in prison.

I am lost and I wanted to know what this means. Can you please help me?

Hello,

Whether the redirect is intentional or not is one thing, the message is another.

When authorities spot a pedophile site, they shut it down and replace its homepage with the relevant message, which is perfectly legitimate and has nothing to do with a scam (which we are more "willingly" prone to receive by email for phishing purposes, sometimes with a pop-up advising to use a specific phone number for the same reason).

The risk is of course zero because there is no intent crime and one could not have, by definition, accessed the site in question.

Fac simile so that no one is unaware:

Let us recall that, even if the site consulted is not of a pedophilic nature, the Penal Code 227-24 theoretically punishes not the users but the distributors of such a site for failing to ensure that the person consulting it is of legal age, notwithstanding their simple declaration to the contrary if they are not.

The means of combating this offense have been widely discussed for some time because, for example, identification via an identity card or payment could face the wrath of the CNIL, and the most appropriate means would paradoxically be for the sites in question to be accessible only through an official digital certificate, but of course, this is impossible to implement when it comes to foreign sites.

Hello @Livrestot StatutMembre.

This is a scam and nothing else, this kind of page appears to trick you into giving money, the Ministry of the Interior does not operate this way and has nothing to do with it, you can sleep easy, you’re at no risk.

Hello

No, I don't think so in prison.

It's hard to know what happens behind a redirect. Especially when we're talking about pedophilia.

A "legal" site, as you say? Well, not on this side of the river, because a legal site here has no pedophilia. So the whole redirect story becomes shady.

Because it's not just pedophilia that poses a problem on the internet, but also people who take advantage of the fact that you could be very scared to pretend to be someone we don’t know, and the goal is really to extort money from you, either directly or through blackmail to extract information or who knows what.

It's hard to know where and how they started to lure you, first towards a porn site, and now redirecting we don’t know to what.

For me, you need to cease all contact with these people, block everything, don’t recall or respond to anything coming from these sites or received messages to break the chain of connection.

Here's a real link to a legitimate Ministry of the Interior site, randomly chosen because here you are truly anonymous, we don’t even know your country.
