CS 1.6 crosshair Closed

Question

Hello, I have a problem with CS 1.6 my crosshair is not precise at all XD even when I stand in front of a wall, it shoots above, how can I fix this without reinstalling? thanks

Hello!
Modify the file config.cfg located in the directory:
Steam > SteamApps > AccountName > counter-strike > cstrike (or cstrike_french or cstrike_lv...)
Or press ² in-game and type according to your case:

If for you precise means "small", then type in the file/console:
cl_crosshair_size "small"

If for you precise means it doesn't enlarge at all when you shoot/move, and remains the same size all the time:
cl_dynamiccrosshair "0"

Hi!  Oh okay, sorry =) I've read stories like that somewhere, but some said it was the bullet impacts that didn't display correctly, but the bullet actually went to the right spot. Test it on a guy. -- I'm trying... Like the guy was there, and... then he had oysters.

Hello,
I have the same problem as you, the ball doesn't go to the center of the crosshair but a little higher!
I'm having a hard time playing! You have to aim a little lower to hit properly.
I didn't have this problem before...

it's very simple, for the viewfinder to become normal, it's a screen resolution problem, try all types of resolutions; from (800*600) to (1280*1024), and try once in Counter Strike and another time in Windows,
and if that's not the case, try the zoom keys which are above the keys; T, Y, U, I, O, P and it should normally work

Hi, I tried to make the crosshair smaller and less dynamic and also white!! I had a problem. I wanted to change my username but I forgot that if I change my username for my options, it will change my cursor etc. etc... I set it back to the way it was, but for the dynamic, there's an issue. When I shoot, the dynamic enlarges, whereas before it didn't. But when I run, jump, and crouch, it doesn't move. I went to redo the dynamic but it was at 0. Well, I saved it again, but it didn't change!! Do you know what I should do to get it back to how it was before??

I had the same problem too, but I found the solution so that the crosshair is smaller all the time!!! Type this in your console during a match: cl_crosshair_size "small"

Yo! If it doesn't work, it's a configuration problem. You need to go to the "config" file in Steam via Explorer, or use a series of commands in the console. Hi everyone :D I've read your posts and I have the solution for your issue. Go to the console [²] and type viewsize 110 (like the spawn fisker programs and all). It's a default variable, it's at 120 which centers the balls in the middle of the crosshair. You can change it until you find the one that works for you :) If you have any other questions, I'm here. Hi, you log into Steam and right-click on Counter Strike > Properties > Set launch options and you copy and paste this: -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -nojoy (with the dashes, of course :) ) -nojoy gives you a slightly better crosshair than the one they offer you (no AWP crosshair, of course... I was already expecting that question ^^) well, if it still doesn't work well, I'm available via my email.
