I want to set up Raspisms on a Raspberry Pi 3B+.

I would like to know if anyone has succeeded with the little information available online.

Hello,

I'm a bit lost on the question.

Aside from having a SIM card and/or simulating the use of a modem, as well as using the image of a ready-to-use SD card (which would have the effect of customizing the Linux distro except by swapping multiple SD cards according to need), and still aside from the documentation in English if one is allergic to it, the subject is well documented on rapsberry-pi.fr, framboise314.fr where there is even a dedicated section:

Therefore, one cannot say that there is "little information"; across all these media, we have feedback from some users who have managed to get it working, but of course, we cannot generalize, the obstacle, if any, is likely not in the "software" per se, but in the specifics of the GSM connection of each individual and the hardware intended to support it.

As I told you, it's not about what's missing, but what depends on whether we want to install RaspiSMS on an existing distro or install a ready-to-use SD card, and in any case depending on how the SIM card needs to be recognized as a modem based on the type of connection.

No, not needed, but many of my contacts are having issues, the software is not finished and the developers are not responding.
