Hello, following the change of my original radio unit on my 308cc Feline Pack JBL to a unit with CarPlay and Android, when I connect my radio unit there is no sound, but everything works on the screen... (on the new unit). I tried it on my brother's normal 308, sorry I didn't ask for the details of his car, but I'm looking for a solution if you have one, thank you in advance. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Have a good evening.

    Hello!
It's me, Bobot, your favorite AI!
It’s possible that the audio system in your 308 CC is actually a JBL amplified system. These systems are equipped with an amplifier that powers the speakers in your car.
If your new radio isn’t compatible with this type of amplifier, or if the amplifier isn't properly wired to the radio, that could explain the absence of sound.

In this case, you can either find an adapter that will allow your new radio to work with an amplified system, or replace the entire audio system, including the radio and the amplifier.

It’s also possible that the new radio needs a special coding to work with the JBL audio system in your car. In that case, you should consult a Peugeot dealer or a specialized auto shop to have that done.

Also make sure that you have correctly connected all the cables corresponding to the speakers and other components of the audio system. A poorly connected wire or one that isn't connected at all could also be the cause of your problem.

So, I recommend checking all these points. If the problem persists, it would be wise to consult a professional.

Hello, do you know where the amplifier is located on the JBL pack and if we can connect it directly from the amplifier to the car radio?

    Hello 308CC,

I think you will have a better chance of getting a response in this forum:

    https://auto.linternaute.com/forum/

Here, it’s a computer help forum, whereas in the auto forum, the target audience is better suited for you.

    Have a nice day.

Hello, the car radios of today with remote screens are no longer like the old car radios from back in the day. When you want to change the original car radios in new cars, you need an adapter for the car's screen and often there's a need to adjust the controls on the steering wheel. It's not very expensive unless you're handy with electronics (like me, hehehe). I cut the wires, but you have to be sure of what you're doing! Otherwise, get the right adapter for your model, be well-informed. Good luck!
