    Hello,

    He is not even concerned by this info, he is old and has not updated Android for a long time.

    There is nothing stopping you from using it as long as it works and its Android version does not become old enough for the applications to stop working.

      Problems take a relatively long time to arrive; one significant barrier is Android 7, for which not much works anymore. It seems to me that certain sites, in particular (La Poste?), require Android 9. We can also encounter issues with authentication methods that are only supported by recent Android versions.

      But, well, last summer I still had a J7 that was stuck on Android 8 and continued to do exactly what I asked of it. It was the battery and limited storage capacity that led me to change it, not Android.
