Password Reset Request!

Hello,

Today around 5:30 AM I received a password reset code for my Facebook account, but I never made that request! I also received the same request last month. I don't think it's a phishing attempt because the email for the request appears in the message history sent by Facebook in my account history.

Is it a mistake on their part or is someone trying to hack my account?

I also noticed that the code I was sent has 8 digits, whereas when I changed my password, Facebook sent me a 6-digit code?

And... It's possible that this story isn't very clear.

6 digits, 8 digits, a request not made by you, someone is circling around your account, they must have doubts at FB too, they see millions of these, but if it lands in your email, you can't tell if it's official or phishing, so you don't know who is trying to get you to enter information at a fake address.

I would go to their help site to get a form with their recent method, they must change it from time to time, to secure with them, for your devices, without going through any link or address present in the email for caution.

The same goes for the other META accounts, they are allowing the decoupling of different accounts so that we don't get hacked all at once.
