Driver for HP DeskJet 2723e printer

Hello, my W10 PC has just died, so I resorted to my old Inspiron 531 with W7 that I only used occasionally.
About a week ago, all of a sudden I couldn’t print anymore.
After many searches, I realized that it was a driver issue.
According to HP's help, I uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it, but the same problem persists.
While looking for information, HP indicates that W7 and others are no longer supported and that drivers for certain printers may no longer work; of course, my printer had this issue.
That's what it is.
The automatic update from HP modifies the old drivers, and as a result, if you are on W7, it no longer works.
If you use the printer installation utilities, it will install the latest driver, so there's the problem.
If you use the "install a printer" function, the problem is the same; what solution is there???
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Which Windows are you using and what version? Please
Windows + R
then enter
winver
to find the version and build.
We can try to block the update of this driver, for that I need the printer ID, to get it go to Device Manager from the start menu or
Windows + R
devmgmt.msc
look for your printer in the print queue and double-click on it, then go to the Details tab, select Property and search for Device Instance Id
select all, copy and share the numbers here
or from the start menu open PowerShell and enter this command copy-paste
pnputil.exe /enum-devices /class Printer /deviceids take a screenshot of the window with the results or copy-paste here what comes out
Hello,
Does the Windows 10 PC have a hardware failure that makes it impossible to repair without costs, or is it a software issue that never prevents repairs?
The printer is a relatively recent model for which HP does not publish drivers for Windows 7: if the Windows 10 drivers are not compatible, then no matter how we approach it—manual installation, HP Smart, recognition by Windows—we will encounter the same problem.
Third-party driver sites, as long as they are reliable, may offer a driver that they claim is compatible with Windows 7 and even though it usually works the other way around (a legacy printer being compatible with a new Windows, not the reverse), it's worth trying.
Otherwise, the question is whether using this Windows 7 machine is only temporary, since the only remaining options would be to either change the printer or purchase a Windows 10 license key to upgrade it: even if the printer is an economical model, the latter option is significantly less expensive.
RE:
I tried to set up a W7 workstation, but apparently your driver requires the printer, which I do not have, but....
Before installing the driver, try to disable Windows Update using the method below.
Then block driver updates via GPO as outlined below.
Next, install the driver and reactivate Windows Update.
To access GPO, press Windows + R and gpedit.msc; if you do not have access to GPO, let me know and I will tell you how to enable it.

Normally, to stop this update, you can press Windows + R, then type control printers, right-click on device installation settings, set it to no, and check "never install drivers with Windows Update."
Hello and thank you
For now, my second printer that was on the PC with Windows 10 (which is broken) works normally on the PC with Windows 7, it's a 1050A
As for the driver loading, I first used the EASY START helpers, which automatically load the desired driver, but without success,
the diagnostic or troubleshooting helpers were the same
I tried going through the device manager by trying the function to install a new printer. But Windows 7 searches for a compatible driver and since it can't find one, it tells me
So the only solution is to find the Windows 7 driver for this printer
I think my problem came from an update (even though it was disabled) that modified the existing driver
Another question, do you think it’s possible to repair the motherboard of my Windows 10 PC ACER inc D1F AD V1 OA
the power supply does not start. Tried everything with another PC, it’s definitely the motherboard
I saw this motherboard for sale for less than 50€ is it worth it or not?
Thank you for your help
