HP DeskJet 3059 A Printer Driver

Hello,

I recently bought a Windows 8 laptop, but my printer is not compatible with W8.

I tried to download an update from the HP website, but nothing happened,

I put my printer installation CD back in, but it still tells me that Windows 8 is not compatible,

What should I do please? It's always in moments like these that I need it the most,

    Hello,

    Install the driver for Windows 7, it should work perfectly.

      this is what I did on the hp site. Now nothing is happening. What should we do after downloading it?
      I put the installation CD back in after that but nothing.

      Throw the CD...
      After downloading it, you now need to install it by double-clicking on the downloaded file.

      So I installed the HP support file, now the issue is when I click to detect devices, my printer is not detected and yet it is properly configured on Wi-Fi, I don't understand anything.
