Scart/hdmi converter blue screen

Hello,

I'm trying to transfer recordings from my Canal recorder decoder to VHS tapes, just like I used to do regularly with the old decoder model that had a SCART socket... Since the new decoder doesn't have a SCART socket and my SCART-equipped TV has broken down, I bought an HDMI to SCART converter (from the decoder to the VCR) and a SCART to HDMI converter (for the video return from the VCR to the TV). The output image from the decoder is fine, but after the transfer to the VHS tape, the sound is fine, but the image is blue on my HD TV... can this issue be resolved by acquiring a higher quality converter, or is the problem something else?

Hello JCD21_6065,

"Canal recorder decoder on VHS tape": Forget this principle quickly. Recording on tape is largely obsolete. Not to mention that you won't find any blank tapes anymore...
What you want to do involves transferring a digital signal to an analog signal.

I found this, with SCART, but I have no confidence in its operation....

Best regards!
