Hello,
I can turn off my TV but I cannot turn it back on which proves that you do not have the correct code for your TV, which may not even exist.
The channel settings do not depend on the remote control, but on the TV. What appears on the screen is programmed into the TV and the remote control only sends signals that are then interpreted by the internal program of the television.
To adjust the channels, you first have to "enter" the TV's menu program to bring up a page of a few lines on the screen. After that, it’s relatively easy; trial and error and guesswork can get you there more or less quickly.
Normally, you enter the TV program with the "Menu" button. If unfortunately nothing happens when you press this button, it means that the signal emitted by the remote control does not correspond to the one expected by the TV. In the same way, no signal corresponds to the one expected for turning it back on.
Try to find another code that allows for more functions of the TV to work. It is clearly stated in the manuals that the first code that allows you to turn off the TV is not necessarily the right one.
If you had asked for advice before buying your remote control, it might have been possible to find you a replacement remote that works without a code and exactly like the original remote.

I have a Schneider SDV 430 DVD player, but I can't program my Thomson ROC 6306 remote control.
Could someone provide me with the codes? Please
Thank you for the responses -
search code for remote control of my SAMSUNG HD 720 DVD recorder
to program a universal remote control
thank you -
It seems that you think all so-called universal remotes use the same code for a specific device.
Unfortunately, this is not the case; that would be too convenient. Each remote brand has its own coding system and generally several depending on the models.

Hello,
The manual for the ROC 6306 remote control can be downloaded here https://mesnotices.20minutes.fr/manuel-notice-mode-emploi/THOMSON/ROC%206306-_F
There is no code list, but there are instructions on how to find the code for the device you have in front of you.
On the other hand, the manual for the ROC 4404 remote control https://mesnotices.20minutes.fr/manuel-notice-mode-emploi/THOMSON/ROC%204404-_F contains a list of codes valid for the 6306 and for many other ROC remote controls that operate with a 3-digit code.

There is no list of codes, but they are the same as those for the 2206 http://mesnotices.fr/manuel-notice-mode-emploi/THOMSON/ROC%202206-_M

The manual for the ROC 6306 is available here https://mesnotices.20minutes.fr/manuel-notice-mode-emploi/THOMSON/ROC%206306-_F
There is no code list, but it explains how to find the code of the device in front of you.
Moreover, the codes are generally the same as those for the ROC 2206. http://mesnotices.fr/manuel-notice-mode-emploi/THOMSON/ROC%202206-_M

@jmp59: you're completely wrong. The ROC 6306 codes are 4 digits. And when you don't have them, it's worse than a nightmare trying to make the automatic search work... which leads nowhere!!!
You've wasted a ton of my time with your false leads. I mindlessly tried the different codes from other remotes, to no avail of course.
You should check what you're stating BEFORE posting.
I was lucky enough to find the codes from a Hungarian... (see post below).

Hello everyone,
after more than a year or even two years since this topic was created,
I remind you once again that if you want me to respond and send you the documentation with the codes for the 6306, you must absolutely include your email address in the text of the messages you send me in your replies, as the forum does not transmit your addresses. So for FOX, for example, or others as well, please send me your personal addresses in your replies; otherwise, I will never be able to send you what you are requesting. Those who understood this have always received a response!!!
Thank you for your understanding.-
