Hello everyone, when I'm on my Messenger messaging, they ask me to enter a PIN code to retrieve messages but I don't know where to find it?? Usually, whenever I have a code, I always put it in the same place, but this time nothing???

    In principle, and unless I'm mistaken, the pin code in Messenger is only used for payments or for end-to-end encryption of Messenger.
    To deactivate this function, you must have already activated it, and if that were the case, you need to know this code. Because a pin code can be found nowhere else except in the mind of the person who defined it.

    If you forget your famous PIN, you can reset it.

    Steps to reset your Messenger PIN

    • Open the Messenger mobile app
    • Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner
    • Press the gear icon at the top
    • Go to the tab: Privacy and security
    • Select the option: End-to-end encrypted chats
    • Choose the option: Secure storage
    • Tap: Reset PIN
    • After tapping: Reset PIN, you need to enter a new 6-digit code, and that's it!
