Ads that appear on their own

Hello, for the past few days ads have been appearing on my phone. When I check my app history, I see that these ads come from apps that are "Cleaners," basically storage cleaners or antivirus apps. I just wanted to know if this could be related to an antivirus I’ve had for a while, which is "Avast Mobile Security."
