Updates are underway

Hello,

First of all, I haven't found anyone with the same problem as me. I recently bought an MSI laptop, and for some time now, when I choose to restart it, I get the message "Updates are in progress. Please do not turn off the computer," but the situation doesn't progress; there is no percentage, and I can still move my mouse. What can I do, please?

    Hello,

I recently bought an MSI laptop and for some time now when I decide to restart it, it tells me "updates are in progress."

Did you buy the PC new, second-hand, or refurbished?

      Hello,

It's normal to have to do updates. Know that when you buy a "brand new" PC, it doesn't have the latest updates. It's especially important not to refuse its requests for updates, as this could cause the PC to crash or lead to unexpected pop-up windows on your screen.

The PC will prompt you when you first start it up. Mine, purchased in August 2023, asked for it, and I complied. In total, I restarted my PC five times.
