VHS Digitizing Issue

Hello, I'm going to try to explain my problem as best as I can since I'm not very good at computers. I am currently digitizing VHS tapes; some work perfectly, but some have picture and sound issues, like below, whereas when I connect the VCR to the TV, the VHS tapes are fine. I have a PC with Windows 10 and I am digitizing with the OBS software. I had the Honestech software with the digitizing key, but the software is buggy. The key is a Tech Store 3 USB key, and the instructions say it supports NTSC, PAL, VIDEO FORMAT. Could it be that some VHS tapes are in SECAM (the format of the VHS is not indicated), and that this is the source of my problem? Also, my VCR only supports PAL; could that be an issue? Even though the VHS tapes are fine on the TV. I've tried to summarize my problem as best as I can; thank you in advance.

Hello,
the instructions mention NTSC, PAL, VIDEO FORMAT There is no way to go wrong... The SECAM format does not exist, so you cannot read them. You would need a Pal/Secam VCR.
Hello, first of all if your videos are playing well on the VCR, that's already something. However, the cheap USB video transfer sticks with 4 pins no longer have the SECAM format integrated into their configurations since these sticks come from around the world and are not updated.
If some tapes don't play and others are converted very well.
I don't have an answer to that.
Given the struggles of desperate people on the forum, we are several regular contributors on the forum to recommend using only the "Dazzle" box, which is well-known and supported by the supplier. This message has been circulating for months on the forum.

Okay, thank you very much, but I don't want to spend €70 to use it only once. If I buy a key with PAL and SECAM, would it work?
Hello everyone,
These image jumps remind me of the unread frames (with your key). The frequency of the images extracted this way doesn’t seem to be the same as when played on a VCR.
The SECAM format is not at all like the other two. See specifications here:
"In France, as early as 1956, public authorities aimed to promote a color format that did not depend on either the Americans with the NTSC created in 1953 and considered imperfect, or the Germans, with their future PAL developed by Telefunken which was still experimental, patented in December 1963 and then developed during the years 1964 and 1965.".

I share the opinion of glandu (whom I greet), it's very reliable compared to the keys.
(personally I used a capture card with Pinnacle Studio 15 software).
Good luck!
