Hello,

I have a problem with my PC; I can't install any virus detection and antivirus applications, and I also can't activate the antivirus from the settings (I don't know much about computers). I put "the virus" in quotes here (C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApp\Microsoft.6365217CE6EB4_102.2310.1001.0_...\MicrosoftSecurityApp.exe), and I don't know if I should click on it. Hello,

The file you mentioned is part of Windows Defender, the antivirus for Windows 10 and 11.

Moreover, you are posting in Google Chrome, what does that have to do with it?

What exactly do you want to do? With what? And what are the error messages?

Hello,

So I put Chrome as the post because I didn't know where to put it. I can't install any antivirus or detection applications. I'm pretty sure I have a virus. Also, I can no longer open Word, which is my work tool. I would like to know how to check for a virus and how to remove it. Thank you in advance.

If you don't know, press the Windows + R keys, type msinfo32 and press OK.
