Excel - Keyboard shortcut: fill handle + options

Hello,

I'm struggling to find if there's a keyboard shortcut for 2 features in Excel:

- Fill handle: to make it quicker than double-clicking on it when we use it often.

- Incremental copy options: to avoid having to grab the button that appears at the bottom right of the fill handle with the mouse. I've tried a lot of things, but nothing works. I really hope that exists; it would be super handy!

Thank you for your help.

PS: I'm sorry if the forum location isn't right; I couldn't find a better one.

For the fill handle, there is no specific keyboard shortcut. This function must be activated manually with the mouse.

Regarding the autofill option, again, Excel does not provide a direct keyboard shortcut. You will therefore need to continue using the mouse to access that button at the bottom right to activate it.

However, there is a technique to extend the selection of the active cell to the entire range of contiguous data: after selecting your cell, you can press "Ctrl" and "Enter" at the same time, which will fill the content of the selected cell into the entire range of contiguous data.

Unfortunately, there is no perfect solution, but Excel is designed to be used by combining mouse and keyboard use to maximize efficiency.

Hello.

No, such shortcuts do not exist. You would need to create them; with VBA, perhaps?

But these tools are already quite a shortcut! I can't see how to shorten them any further...

Thank you for your response, at least I know what to expect.

These are indeed shortcuts, but given that they are buttons, I'm surprised there isn't an associated keyboard shortcut, especially since they can be used repeatedly and are rather small to reach with the mouse, at least for the handle.

The AI's response is impressive!
