Numbers - adding multiple contextual menu items
Anonymous user -
Hello,
I'm using Numbers (version 13.1).
How can we add multiple items to the context menu in bulk?
MORE SPECIFICALLY, I have a dropdown list of 125 items to add and I would like to avoid entering them one by one????
I am capable of creating a context menu, but I can only enter one item at a time.
* Is there a formula, like in Excel, to use a series of cells and reference them to create a dropdown menu?
Thank you very much

I tested something that could help you:
In Numbers, I pasted a series of names into successive cells of a column...
Then I selected all the cells and in the format options, I assigned the status "Pop-up menu" to that set...
I had the result that each cell is turned into a pop-up menu with the selection of all the selected items.
I can therefore now keep only the first cell of the column.
You just need to paste your 125 items into a column, select that set, and declare everything as "Pop-up menu"...
Then, after confirming that the first cell of the column indeed contains the 125 items, delete the 124 cells that have become unnecessary.
It works for me like that, with the same version of Numbers.
Take care ;)
