My phone won't read the SIM after motherboard replacement.

Hello,

I'm reaching out to you because I can't find a solution to my problem. I changed the motherboard of my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.

Everything works, but it doesn't read the SIM card, which works because I use it in my other phone.

It does read the SD card, though.

The IMEI number changed but it's still the same model.

I think there must be a procedure, but I can't find one. When I start the phone, it says "T Mobile" which I can't get rid of. It does ask for my SIM code to enter the phone.

Could you please help me?

    Hello,

    I have the impression that this motherboard was designed to work only on the T-Mobile network. Try reaching out directly to your carrier to unlock it so that the phone can work on any network.

    Unfortunately, we cannot assist you in bypassing the SIM lock on CCM, as explained in our charter.

    Yes, from my operator and the phone starts, that's why I'm asking.

    Just one question please. If the phone is SIM-locked, does it still ask me for the PIN code on startup?
