Hello,

I can't move files on the desktop.

The message says: "This file is used by Lock Screen Content Server."

I don't need this server, how do I get rid of it?

Besides, I didn't even invite it.

Thank you for your contributions and your help.

    Hello,

The "server" in question is, as its name suggests, the one for the lock screen, and Windows protests that you are trying to modify contents as part of it (although we can't really see what these images are doing on the desktop).

Either we modify the images in question so that those that are not useful can be removed: Settings-Personalization-Lock screen, choose an image and disable the other options.

Or, in the context of exclusive personal use of the PC, we disable the lock screen; there are several ways to do this.
The simplest way is to create a new text file, copy the following into it:

     Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Personalization] "NoLockScreen"=dword:00000001

save it, for example, as NoLockScreen.reg, right-click, and merge.
