Hello,

I bought a display panel in a store (turned off except when a customer requested to see it).
Stated 'like new condition and 2-year warranty'.

However, I have stains that are visible when the sun hits the bay window. The stains are not visible once the TV is turned on.

Cleaning with a microfiber cloth does not work.

    Hello,

If it's a defect, you need to check with the warranty, for a material defect, we can't provide you with a miracle solution through the forum!

    Hello,

Given your photos, I think your screen (and particularly the pixels) are dead. You should avoid buying display products. You have no idea how they were handled.

In this extracted photo, you can clearly see 5 dead pixels. I strongly advise you to return the screen and get a refund.

    Oh yeah, I see...

Samsung is telling me to return the product because I have a 14-day withdrawal period. They don't want to activate the warranty for now. I think they prefer that the store handles the issue within the 14 days.
    I'll check with them. Thanks.

I bought from a store > Stated 'condition like new and 2-year warranty = return to the store's customer service.

The only issue is that it was an online store, so I think the return will be at my expense...

I bought a slab that was on display in a store.

You're getting your wires crossed. Is it online or in a shop?

You should read the terms of sale on the website in question.

It was on display in a shop, but I bought it online. The girl on the phone specified to me that it was like new and that they only turned it on at the customer's request.

That's right. They have a physical store, but you can also order online.

You need to claim the warranty with this store.

Well, I found the problem, it's the anti-glare filter... Thinking it was the protective film, I started to remove the anti-glare filter and I realized it was the issue...

I'm waiting for a response from the store, but in my opinion, the warranty is going to be void...

      Hello,

This is what I was going to explain to you (surface treatment of the damaged screen) and I saw that you figured out the origin of the problem by yourself.

So, unfortunately, the warranty will not apply and I don't think it's repairable.

      What a shame!

So €1500 down the drain, it hurts for a defect that was there from the start...

If the cleaning was done in the store by a person in charge of maintenance, it's worth insisting with the salesperson.
