Hello,
I saved a file as ods with a password to open it. Since installing Microsoft 365, I do not have the option to enter my password.
When I try to open this file, a window appears indicating:
Unable to open "Toto.ods": this file has been password protected and cannot be opened.
I am using:
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021
Microsoft 365
Windows 10 Professional version 21H2
Thank you for your help in resolving this issue.
Thank you SATS_fr,
Indeed, this is Libre Office. I will try it and keep you updated.
Be patient, I'm not very fast.
Hello.
No problem.
SATS,
I'm not very skilled. I reinstalled Libre Office (which another person had installed without telling me the consequences; I only had Excel files before).
I can open all the ods files without any problem. But I haven't been able to convert them to xls. It asks me for a password.
If you could guide me step by step, I would be the happiest of clueless people.
Vincent
Hello.
I had done this manipulation some time ago. I just tried again, and it's not working in xls format.
I don't have Office to test other formats (like html).
Either LibreOffice has reduced its capabilities, or Microsoft has prohibited it.
I'm sending you a slightly dated link; maybe some solutions are still valid, especially conversion sites. Type "export ods to xls" into a search engine, and you'll find a number of sites that I can't test since I don't have Office.
