Hello,

I've learned that my storage space on my hotmail.fr mail account is full and that I can no longer send or receive messages.
To free up space, I decided to empty all my folders: Inbox, Junk mail, Sent items... then I emptied my Trash ("Deleted items").
Unfortunately, this had no effect on my storage space and I still cannot send or receive messages.
Can someone tell me what the solution is?

    See the response I was given on 23/3 for a similar issue. It was very helpful.

    Good evening,

    Emptying the Recycle Bin is fine, but you also need to delete them "Permanently."

    Go to your email address:

    https://outlook.live.com/mail/

    Click on "Deleted items" (Recycle Bin)

    Click on "Recover deleted items from this folder"

    All the emails you delete from the Recycle Bin are kept here for 30 days.

    Select all the mails and delete.

    Thank you for this information.

    I wasn't aware that to permanently delete, you had to go through "recover."

    So I have permanently deleted all the items from my trash.

    But for now, my storage space hasn't changed...

    If I remember correctly, it's the next day that I saw my storage space decrease

    Hello everyone

    It's the same problem again, my Hotmail inbox is full even though I deleted at least 900 emails yesterday and emptied the trash. I'm waiting for important correspondence. I don't know what to do anymore. Please help me. Thank you.
