I no longer want to be an admin of the page, but...

Hello,

I am an administrator of a FB page but no longer want to be. I am not the creator of this page.

I went to the "Page Access" settings page (https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=profile_access), but my name does not appear in the list of people who can manage the page.


Therefore, I receive all notifications related to this role. When I click on the three little dots to the right of a notification from this page, I don't have any options, but I get this error message:

When I refresh it with the button just below the error message, nothing changes.

I still have all the rights on the page.

What I have tried and that did not change anything:

- Asked another admin to do it, but they also don't see me in the list.
- Logged out of my account on all my devices at the same time.
- Tried on a computer or on the app.
- Disabled and reactivated my account.

Does anyone have an idea? Thanks :-)

    Hello
    Managing groups or FB pages is a real hassle.
    If nothing works, you might need to leave the group altogether and then ask to rejoin as a member, but if possible, leave a day in between.

      Oh yes, for the pages it's a bit tricky:
      To stop directly following a user, or to unsubscribe directly from a Page or a group: Access the profile, Page, or group from which you wish to unsubscribe. For a profile, tap on. , then on Subscriptions and Unsubscribe.

      Once unsubscribed, ask another admin if they can remove you from the role.

    I'm not sure I've gone to the right place.
    When I click on the 3 dots next to the pages, I don't have "Unsubscribe". See the screenshot at this address: https://ibb.co/VwJ7Qb5

      No, that's not it.
      It's to follow or not to follow, but I have doubts about whether that changes anything.

      There is also the fact that on a page, you can either be under the management profile or not when viewing the page. See at the bottom "Toggle"
      But again, I don't think that's the issue.


      I sadly fear that I won't be able to help you any further.

    I tried to unfollow and unlike the page, but it doesn't change anything.
    Thank you anyway for your help. I think it's a major bug on FB. Thankfully, I'm not an asshole who would want to delete the page, for example!
