Wait, I wanted to have you do the Pandora, but it's not necessary. Just follow the tutorial I'm giving you:

After that, you will be on 1.50 and you'll just have to install a brand new firmware.

I will repeat again and again lol, there is no recovery on the official firmware, so it's useless to look for it IT DOES NOT EXIST.
When you exit, it turns back on but still in recovery mode? Because if that's the case, I think it's bricked. So there are 2 options: either you unbrick it, which is doable, or you take it back to where you got it.
Alors, comment tu fais pour faire le truc avec la batterie Pandora ? Tu dois rentrer en mode recovery et sur PSP Generation, ils disent qu'on peut le faire avec n'importe quelle version.
It's perhaps simply the R button that is stuck; it seems to me that it just takes pressing quite hard on it.
I had a friend who every time he started his PSP had the recovery mode; he would hit it 4 or 5 times pretty hard and there you go.
To access recovery mode, you need to:
- remove the battery from the PSP and then put it back in without turning on the PSP
- press the R button and then turn on the PSP while continuing to hold R, after which a black screen with red will appear, and that's the recovery
A little clarification: recovery mode cannot be installed with a computer, but you need to have a PSP with custom firmware (m33)
Also, if you are on custom firmware, when you are on the XMB, press select and you will have a menu to make new settings for the PSP and 4 levels of brightness.
