Hello,

I bought a CONTINENTAL EDISON LED Android TV UHD 4K 55″ and I can't find how to set the 4K or HDR, nothing is proposed, no EDID or anything, I can't change anything, can someone help me

    Hello

    On this television, if you read the user manual, only HDMI port 3 is compatible with 4K and the cable must also be compatible, plus your source needs to output in 4K.

    You can't adjust much on this entry-level TV, because IF the source is in 4K and IF that source is connected through HDMI 3, then it will automatically detect the signal. Anyway, you can't "adjust" a 4K signal from nothing.

Yes, it is true that the television is placed in a room alone; there is neither a box nor anything connected, so if I understand correctly, the signal automatically detects 4K on the TV without a box? If this is the case, honestly, that’s not the case; the quality is decent but surely not 4K, it would be more like HD. Given your good advice, I have another question: I am trying to search for TV channels, but the TV does not detect anything, whereas the DTT is integrated, so normally it shouldn't need to be wired. What do you think?

      In theory, digital terrestrial television (DTT) in France has been in 4K since 2022 according to what I can read. Since I don’t live in France, I can't confirm this, but technically speaking, it is clear that the only real answer can come from the brand itself. The question is whether this television is 4K compatible via the signal received through the integrated DTT module. Referring to the manual, it seems that it is not, but since the manual is quite basic, it's complicated to give a certain answer.

      That said, I don't know how you tested 4K if you are not receiving any television channels. I repeat, to test 4K viewing, you need a 4K source. If it is external, it must be connected to HDMI 3; if it is a television source, your television must be connected to something. Either a decoder of the type CanalSat or satellite, or an antenna for DTT. Your TV is equipped with a DTT decoder, but that does not imply that it can do without a rooftop antenna. This is logical and indicated in the user manual.

      Finally, when that is the case, don't forget to read the manual including, among other information: M
      Accessing DVB (Digital) channels
      - Press the LEFT/RIGHT navigation buttons to select
      DVB-T (DTT) or DVB-C (Cable).
