My Canon MG5250 printer displays: Ink absorber almost full.

What should I do?

Hello,

Changing the ink absorber pads is generally a quite complicated and messy operation.
Please contact customer service to find out the cost of an intervention and if it is worth it (considering the age of the printer).

Personally, I am quite pessimistic. An alert on the absorber pads signifies the end of the printer.

What we understand well is expressed clearly,
And the words to say it come easily.

Hello also (politeness is essential on the CCM Forum),

Check this link... http://imprimante-en-question.blogspot.com/2013/12/lutilitaire-canon-v3400-pour-remettre.html

The solution was found on the CCM Forum in 2016... https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-33512456-absorbeur-encre-canon-pixma-mg5250

Hello ....

When this message appears, it means you need to reset the used ink counter to unlock the printer.

Send the printer to a repair shop, but at what cost?

Or try to do this with the Canon V3400 tool ► See this linkMake sure to read the procedure carefully

The drawback is that your printer is not listed among the printers compatible with this tool, but in my opinion, it's worth a try since similar models are included ......

If the tool unlocks the printer, ideally you should replace the ink pads afterwards, provided you can find them on the market and know how to replace them ...

Cheers ► See you for the result obtained...
