Retrieve content from a Messenger video call

Hello, on November 9, 2022, I unknowingly witnessed a theft by deception with abuse of trust against my mother during a Messenger video call. We obviously filed a complaint, but since we don't have the content of the call, nothing is happening because we have no proof. The thief has either blocked or deactivated his Messenger and Facebook account since November 11. Is there any way to retrieve the content of that call to help advance our case? This charming gentleman left with €3000 in cash and hasn't set foot at home since November 11, 2022... Thank you in advance for your help.

Unless I'm mistaken, you won't be able to retrieve it. Indeed, there is a recording function in this application, but it needs to be started before or during the call. Otherwise, the call takes place and nothing is recorded.
