Using aethersx2

Hello,

I would like to play PS2 games on my mobile.

I downloaded aethersx2 on my smartphone, and I downloaded a game in ISO file to try, but I can't get any further. Could you please let me know how to proceed? I saw that I needed to download the BIOS... but how do I do that? What is it? I should mention that I do not have the PS2.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Hello,

I managed to download the PS2 bios on my phone, but when I try to extract it into the Android data folder, I get an error message (it cannot display the files due to Android restrictions).

    Can you help me?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello.

You need to go to the phone settings to allow the installation of applications from unknown sources. Be careful, applications from unknown sources do not come from the Play Store and can infect your phone, so it's at your own risk.

Thanks bazfile, I know how to do that, but here it's a problem where I can't unzip the bios zip file into the data folder of Android...

You copy your bios zip file to your PC, connect your phone to your PC, its contents will appear in Windows Explorer, you open your ZIP file with, for example, 7-zip, you extract it into a folder, you copy/paste the extracted bios into the data folder of your smartphone via Windows Explorer.

Thank you very much for your response, it's okay I managed to do it, I still can't launch my game, I need to find out where to insert it in the folder.
