Epson Perfection 1260/1660 Scanner Software

Hello everyone,
I have an old scanner "Epson Perfection 1260 / Epson Perfection 1660 photo". Having switched to Windows 10, I no longer have a compatible driver.
I want to scan slides with this scanner, which I could do before my upgrade to Windows 10.
If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it.
Thank you for your response.

Hello.
Update the driver https://www.epson.fr/fr_FR/support/sc/epson-perfection-1260/s/s63

A hello, a response, a thank you are always appreciated. -
Thank you for the response, but I can't update since I can't install the software. My CD must be for an installation on XP or earlier, so Windows 10 doesn't accept it.
If there is another solution, please let me know.
Have a good evening.

Download and install the software provided by Epson; on the website I indicated, you have all the installations by Windows version, no need for your CD, and if it doesn't work, you have this paid solution https://www.hamrick.com/fr/vuescan/epson-perfection-1260-pilote.html

1°) There is no software available for Windows 10 for the Epson Perfection 1260 on the internet, so no updates are possible.
2°) The solution with Vuescan works, but this software being paid, it clearly indicates on the scanned slide "buy Vuescan, etc..."
I had already downloaded this software which I uninstalled.
If there are no other solutions, I will have to project my slides onto a screen and take a photo with my phone.
Good evening.

Hello,
The only solution I found to avoid throwing my old Epson scanner in the trash is to install a Windows XP virtual machine in VirtualBox.
I warn you right away that it's not straightforward. There are quite a few tutorials on YouTube.
You need to have an ISO file of Windows XP with the product key, of course.
Once Windows XP is installed and running, you'll need to install the scanner with the original CD.
When everything is done, you'll have your scanner back with all its functionalities. (You will need to set up a shared folder to retrieve scanned documents on your computer from the virtual machine.)
The ideal would be to get help from a computer technician, as the difficulties are numerous.
But it really is worth a try!
What is well conceived is clearly stated,
And the words to express it come easily.

Good evening,
Thank you for the solution, but I am not skilled enough in IT to implement it.
I need to see a technician soon for my other PC, I will discuss it with him.
Have a good evening.
