Hello,

To achieve better Wi-Fi coverage, I would like to replace my Bouygues Telecom box with an Asus ROG GT AX-6000 router.
Would you know how to connect it?

Thank you in advance,

UbuntuPC

    Hello,

replace the box, for what purpose, just to get better wifi network?

Is it a fiber or ADSL box?

On a fiber box, it's quite difficult and this router does not support ADSL.

I think it would be much more effective to just turn off the wifi network of the box and install a good mesh wifi system behind it, it's within everyone's reach and very effective.

Plus, it's very expensive and very ugly,

    also,

are you sure your devices are wifi 6 compatible, otherwise it will be limited to wifi 5 or even wifi n, so it's a waste of money.

    And there you go ....

But misery, it's such a pain with the line spacing !!

    Hello,
    It's a fiber box,

the problem is that I need to cover 4 floors, two of which are separated by a concrete slab (~25cm). And yes, all my devices are wifi 6. Is there any way to redirect the signal from my box to the router?

    Have a nice day

      it confirms:

one single router, no matter how expensive, will never cover everything, it's essential to invest in a mesh wifi.

Afterwards, redirecting, with an ethernet cable, yes ....
