Lost password but still logged in on FB

Hello, I have a Facebook account that I’ve had for a long time and I recently changed the password. Immediate action! Immediate forgetfulness!!! grrr I followed the password recovery procedure, but the recovery email is no longer valid (not used enough, so deleted) so it’s impossible to recover my account (unless I give my ID card, which I don’t really want to do). At the same time, I still find myself logged into Messenger (fortunately!) but I can’t access FB anymore!!! My question is: can I recover (how???) my Messenger password to log into my FB account? (it’s the same normally) Since I’m logged into Messenger, surely my password is saved somewhere... ?
Thanks for your insights and tips :)

Hello.

Since you had left in your Facebook profile a recovery email that you no longer have access to, the only solution is to do what Facebook asks of you.

Thank you, but I think there is another solution.
So I opened a second FB account, and when I use Messenger, I now also have 2 accounts: the new one and the old one still open and accessible without me having to enter a password.
When I’m on Messenger I can switch from one to the other without any problem. That clearly means that my Messenger password (for the old account) is still saved somewhere... and if I manage to recover it, I could return to my old FB account.
